Welcome everyone, and happy new year from Coco Boutique! I’m sure lots of us have been feeling the January blues and to cheer us up, I wanted to do a make-up look featuring three of my current favourite products. Now, I know a full face of make-up can be a little intimidating if you’re not used to doing it, but don’t worry, this look is easy and simple to do.

First off, I’m using the Tom Ford Eye Quad palette in ‘Sous Le Sable’. It’s a beautiful mix of bronzes, taupes and pinks. I start by taking the darkest shade and blending it into my crease. Use small circular motions for a softer look, then I take the second darkest shade and do the same thing, working outwards and then upwards. Finally I use the lightest shade as a highlight on my brow bone and inner corner.

Next I’m using one of my all time favourites, Charlotte Tilbury Matte lipstick in ‘Sexy Sienna’. This lipstick is creamy and long lasting so you don’t have to constantly re-apply throughout the day. To finish the look off I’m using an oldie but a goodie – MAC lip pencil in ‘Spice’. It’s the perfect colour to match the lipstick and to keep it in place. Use the lip pencil to line your lips and then fill it in with the lipstick.

And to finish off the look, a little mascara and you’re all set! This look is perfect for those days when you want to look polished and put together without overdoing it. Plus, it only takes a few minutes to do so you don’t have to spend too much time getting ready.
